When my friend Stephanie contacted me about doing her maternity pictures, I knew it was gonna be an amazing session. This girl is about due with a child and was climbing trees and walking through shrubs. I totally love this chic!

What I love even more about Stephanie, is that she is a surrogate mom and is giving the gift of a beautiful child to a very fortunate couple. It makes my heart happy knowing that she was able to give such an amazing gift and I am so glad I was able to be a part of this amazing journey with her.

I had been anxiously waiting to post these shots of my dear friend and her family. I snapped these about 3 months ago and after busy schedules, diaper changes, first birthdays, and just good ol' life, my friend was able to pick her favorite and I FINALLY get to post them!

My friend Ani and I have known each other since the 7th grade. We went to high school together and after high school we lost touch for a few years. I was pregnant with my son when we found each other again. We met up for lunch and it was like we never lost touch. If its one thing I am blessed with when it comes to friends, it is that no matter how long we go not talking, we can always start exactly where we left off.

Since we got back in touch (which was about 3 years ago) I have had the honor of photographing MANY of her special moments.

And now a year after their little Olivia made her debut, I captured what will be their first official family pictures. I can't express enough, how honored and blessed I am to be able to capture many of my friends and families memories and how amazing it is to see my friends and family members become wives and mothers.

Now my heart is full.

I remember when I first found out I was going to be a mommy. It was an amazing feeling knowing I had something growing inside me. Such a precious gift from God to be a mother.

I am always excited when women become first time mommies. Its scary and exciting all at the same time. 

Jamie is due with her first baby. Awesomely enough she is due just one day after my sons birthday.

I'm so excited to share these shots I did yesterday of my very dearest and bestest friend who is not due with her first (although by the looks of her body, you'd think it was) but her SIXTH, yes I said SIXTH, baby!

Who says you can't be pregnant and still look SMOKIN'!

He's Here!!!!

My beautiful nephew Daven Orlando made it into this world on Saturday June 25th, 2011 at 11:47PM. My sister had given up hope on going into labor naturally but Saturday evening her water broke and off to the hospital she went!

I arrived at 9pm just a few minutes after they gave her an epidural which ended up doing absolutely nothing for her. Her contractions were bad but she held up like a champ. My mom and my sisters husband as well as myself took turns walking her through her contractions. Eventually they gave her a heavier medicine to make the contractions more bareable.

After just 3 hours of laboring she was ready to push! Now that's what I call a fast labor. It was an amazing feeling to see life being born and to see my sister birth her second child. I am so happy I got to experience the miracle of natural child birth and above all was able to see my sister meet her new son.
